LiveSafe Resources is proud to present the honorees for the 38th Annual Tribute to Women of Achievement. Each year, the organization honors fifteen women leaders, nominated by their peers, who demonstrate outstanding leadership in their personal, professional, and volunteer endeavors. The 2023 Tribute to Women of Achievement gala will take place at the Renaissance Waverly Atlanta Hotel & Conference Center Friday, March 17 at 6:00 pm. Individual tickets and corporate tables are available for purchase. The evening will feature a social reception, dinner program and silent auction with more than 150 items, including the organization’s popular “Purse Auction.” The gala will honor the 2023 Women of Achievement and highlight the work of LiveSafe Resources to serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community, as well as name the winner of the Pat Head Dignity Award, given to highlight a member of law enforcement, victim services, a legislator, or a community partner who exemplifies the standard of “doing the right thing” when serving victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.

“In 2020 alone, more than 42,000 incidents of domestic violence were reported to Georgia law enforcement and numbers have only increased since then,” said Tracey Atwater, executive director of LiveSafe Resource. “Therefore, as we host our annual gala, we aim to focus attention on the ways our community and organization can best support those who face the consequences of domestic violence and sexual assault. At LiveSafe Resources, it is our mission to provide the support and skills these courageous survivors need, such as counseling, shelter, education, and advocacy, which serve as the foundations for rebuilding lives. To end the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault, the responsibility of awareness and action starts with our community and organization.”

LiveSafe Resources thanks its Annual Corporate Partners and Tribute event sponsors for their ongoing commitment to supporting victims impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and invites the community at large to join this mission through a tax-deductible donation or by attending the gala on March 17.
