MARIETTA, GA. September 27, 2023-  LiveSafe Resources, a leading organization dedicated to providing safety and healing to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, welcomed the Atlanta fashion world to the inaugural “Fashion Affair” event in early September.

Over 200 guests shopped, mingled and enjoyed the stylish evening which raised $35,000 for the nonprofit.

The highlight of this exclusive event was the full runway fashion show with 2023 fall collection looks designed and produced by Bettina Benson, founder and designer at Chloé Kristyn, an Atlanta-based, women’s fashion line. Celebrating the multifaceted nature of today’s woman, the brand highlighted the diverse roles she takes on daily.

The fashion show was produced by top Atlanta stylist Shaye Strager of Strager Style LLC and featured ten professional models plus guest models from the staff team at LiveSafe Resources to create a diverse and exciting show. Hair and makeup were provided by the professionals from Bob Steele Salon and DIOR.

The exclusive event also featured pop-up shopping from a curated selection of local boutiques and fashion vendors, accompanied by heavy hors d’oeuvres and bar.

“A Fashion Affair was the epitome of sophistication and style,” said attendee Victoria Turney of Marietta law firm Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor. “It’s my sincere wish to see this event evolve into an annual extravaganza.”

“We knew this event had potential, so it was thrilling to have a sellout crowd the very first year,” said LiveSafe Resources Development Director Cindy Fennel. “We loved having our loyal supporters of LiveSafe Resources there, plus being able to share our mission with so many new friends, as well.”

A Fashion Affair was presented by Verizon with additional support from many other sponsors to benefit LiveSafe Resources, the primary agency serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the NW Atlanta region.
