MARIETTA, GA. October 31, 2023 – LiveSafe Resources, a Marietta-based nonprofit focused on providing safety and healing to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, announced new leadership Tuesday.

Kennesaw resident Lisa Mello will become the organization’s CEO. Mallori Bruning, who joined the group in 2019, has been named chief operating officer.

Mello will join the LiveSafe Resources team on Nov. 27, following a more than two decades of working in philanthropy. The organization was previously led by executive director Tracey Atwater, who left the nonprofit in June.

For more than a century, LiveSafe Resources has served Cobb County’s most vulnerable; providing shelter, transitional housing, counseling, legal advocacy, and a host of other services that help survivors of domestic and sexual violence heal with dignity.
