Tribute to Achievement is an exciting night where 15 amazing women are honored, there is a sit down dinner, silent auction with over 150 items, live auction and raffle. This fabulous evening highlights the work we do for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Academy of Women Leaders created the Tribute to Women of Achievement event to honor women who exemplify the qualities of leadership, achievement, dedication and generosity. At this annual event, one individual will be named Woman of the Year; this title is a recognition of their distinct leadership style as well as their expertise in balancing business, community and family. To date, over 500 female community leaders in our area have been honored with this award. Any worthy woman from Atlanta is eligible to receive this honor and become part of the Academy of Women Leaders.

Fund the Mission

Tribute to Achievement highlights the work we do for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Please help fund our mission.

Pat Head Dignity Award

Each year, this award is given to someone in law enforcement, victim services, the community or a legislator who exemplifies the standard of “Doing the Right Thing” when it comes to serving victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.

Pat Head, former District Attorney for the Cobb Judicial Circuit, fought for the rights of victims. His motto, “Do the Right Thing,” was and still is the standard by which he and those around him work and live. This award is established in his honor for years of dedication to those who no longer have a voice, who need us to be their voice, and for their loved ones.
