Domestic violence is among the leading causes of injury to women – every 9 second in the U.S., a woman is assaulted or beaten, most often by her intimate partner. Victims often need help finding a safe place, navigating solutions, and organizing their plans for a new start in life. LiveSafe Resources meets those needs so survivors can turn their plans into action. A LiveSafe Resources client recently thanked the organization with the following quote: “LiveSafe Resources gave me counseling that has literally saved my life. My counselor went the extra mile to help me. I was in a very dangerous domestic violence situation. It was life threatening and she gave me every tool available to keep me safe.”
